Privacy policy

PJ Club (pj-club.com) is an introduction service for aircraft sales and charter flights. We are not an air carrier. Charter flights are operated by licensed operators under their own air operator certificates, and aircraft for sale are listed by brokers.

The data controller is PJ Club. You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@pj-club.com.

We collect what you send us and what your browser shares when you use the site.

• Sales inquiries: name, email, phone number, whether you are a buyer or a broker, timeline, funding and budget answers, your message, and the aircraft you ask about.
• Charter inquiries: name, email, phone number, message, passenger count, trip type, flexibility, any bid price you offer, and the empty-leg flight you ask about.
• Route alerts: your email address and the route you want to follow.
• Operator submissions: company and contact name, email, phone, route, dates, seats, aircraft type and category, price, and your notes.
• Contact messages: your name, email address and message.
• Technical data: device and browser information, pages viewed, and a random visit identifier stored in your browser. Analytics and advertising data is collected only if you accept it.

Our forms save each step as you go. If you stop part-way, the details from earlier steps may already be stored.

• To answer your inquiry, set up a route alert you asked for, or review an operator submission: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• To pass your request to the operator or broker concerned and, once you proceed, the passenger details needed for the flight: steps taken at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To respond to messages, keep the site secure and prevent fraud and spam: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
• To measure site use and ad performance with analytics and advertising cookies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can refuse or withdraw it at any time. The site works the same either way.

Charter flights. When you ask us to arrange a flight, we send your contact details and request to the operator. Once you decide to proceed, the passenger details needed for the flight (names, dates of birth, passport or ID details) go to the operator for the manifest and border requirements. From that point the operator processes them as an independent data controller, under its own privacy policy.

Aircraft sales. Your inquiry goes to the broker that holds the listing. The broker acts as an independent data controller.

Payments go directly to the operator. We do not receive or store payment card details. We may receive compensation from the operator for the introduction. This does not change what data we share.

We use these providers to run the site:

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Neon: database.
• Resend: email delivery.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: measurement, only with your consent.
• Microsoft Clarity: session analytics, only with your consent.
• OpenAI ads pixel: advertising measurement, only with your consent.

Several of these providers are based in the United States. When data leaves the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and on standard contractual clauses where it is not.

We take no decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects on you or significantly affects you in a similar way.

We do not sell personal data.

These are maximum periods. We delete or anonymise data sooner when the purpose ends.

• Inquiries and contact details of prospects: 3 years from the last contact you initiated.
• Route alerts: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years without activity, whichever comes first.
• Operator submissions: 3 years from the last contact.
• Cookie recording your consent choice (pj_consent): 6 months.
• Analytics cookies: as set out in the table below, never more than 13 months.
• Passport or ID details, if they ever pass through us: forwarded to the operator and deleted from our systems within 30 days after the flight.

You can ask us to:

• give you access to your data;
• correct it;
• erase it;
• restrict how we use it;
• stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest (objection);
• give it to you in a portable format;
• stop relying on your consent. Use Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect what happened before;
• give instructions on what happens to your data after your death (article 85 of the French Data Protection Act, loi Informatique et Libertés).

You may complain to the supervisory authority of your own EU country. In France it is the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL), www.cnil.fr.

Strictly necessary storage needs no consent. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them. Change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. We store your choice for 6 months, then ask again.

Google may set further advertising cookies on google.com or doubleclick.net depending on tag configuration. Durations shown are maximums and may be shorter.
